Privacy
- Camera access: HoopsRef uses your camera only when you take an optional profile photo and during the official assessment integrity check.
- Microphone access: HoopsRef uses your microphone only during the official assessment to detect sustained excessive room noise. Audio and continuous video are not recorded or uploaded. HoopsRef does not use facial recognition or automatically verify your identity.
- Profile photo: Your optional profile photo is saved with your HoopsRef profile so it can appear on your certificate and, if you opt in, on the leaderboards.
- Assessment snapshots: Five still images are captured and saved during each official assessment for use on that assessment's certificate. These images are separate from your optional profile photo.
- Profile and assessment history: Your HoopsRef profile and assessment history are saved so you can access them when you sign in again. Only results you explicitly choose to share are displayed on the leaderboards.
- Account security: HoopsRef uses secure email-and-password authentication through Supabase. HoopsRef does not store or receive your password in readable form.
